I Signed Up For Social Spark!

I recently came across a post on another persons blog about Social Spark and was became interested, so I wandered over to their site to check it out.

Basically, Social Spark, gives me and you the opportunity to make a little money doing what we love to do.....and that is blog! I started this blog to help other mommies find some good deals and save where they can; I was already doing the research so I figured why not share the information with my friends. Blogging is something I love to do and if I can make money while doing, that is two super huge thumbs up from me! As a stay at home mom....a little extra cash can go a long way!

Anyhow...Social Spark is a directory of sorts for blogs and sponsors. All you have to do is go and register your blog with the site, put in a few keywords about what your blog is all about and bingo- bango, sponsors can begin to find you to review their products or advertise on your blog!

With a new baby it is hard to get out of the house sometimes...especially to do some of the things use to love to do...like see a movie. Recently, I have become a bit addicted to Redbox....there a ton of redbox locations and I have found right inside my local Lucky's grocery store. The movies are only $1 to rent which is a deal in itself but now I have found some codes that allow me to rent the movies for free!

Watching these redbox movies is kind of a nice way to have an at-home date night...snuggle up on the couch while Lilly is sleeping and just enjoy something not baby related.

I bought Lilly a Gund HuggyBuddy when I was about 20 weeks pregnant...I had no idea if she would like it but I thought it was super cute and VERY soft (we all know how soft Gund products are) and I found it on sale...so I figured, why not?

Fast forward to now....Lilly is nearing 4 months old....I brought out her huggybuddy s (Hers is a pink teddy bear) and let her play with it...see how she liked it...well...she LOVES it! And it is SO cute to watch her play with it...since the body is like a blanket and the head it is stuffed, it is very easy for her to grab and hug. Apparently, it tastes pretty good too because Lilly will nom on that thing all.day.long!

I have a pretty good feeling that this may become her lovey...that one thing she has to have wherever we go....and when I bought this...that was actually my hope. I'm going to wait on it a bit but if it does turn out to be her lovey...I am going to buy 2 more of the same kind in case we lose one or the first one becomes to ratty....I know from past experiences (with my friends kids) that a look-a-like will NOT do!
